On 1.8.2019, a ceremonial tapping of the foundation stone took place on the occasion of  the construction of the new “B” building“.  Exactly on the day of starting of the construction, this opening ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center (MSIC), Technical university of Ostrava (TU-VŠB), the chief architect and the building contractor (HSF system). On behalf of Ingeteam, Ing. Tomáš Marten, Chairman of the Board, Ing. Jiří Valášek, Vice-Chairman of the Board and Ing. Rastislav Škuta, Chairman of the Supervisory Board tapped the stone.

The guests wished Ingeteam to maintain the dynamic development of the company and early using of the new premises. The construction is expected to be completed in June 2020. The new building should provide space for a substantial expansion of the company's research&development and production capacities.
