The Business Unit Hydro of Indar, an Ingeteam company, his service division has recently been recognized by the French utiily EDF for the successful design, assembly and installation of a new stator in its Beaumont-Monteux hydro power plant, in France.

Backed by its sound design and engineering capabilities, Indar has delivered this equipment with a rated power of 5.8 MVA, 107 rpm and 5.65 kV. This scheme is located in the Isère-Drôme basin, a region where EDF has 44 hydroelectric power stations in operation.

The Business Unit Hydro of Indar is capable to carry out rehabilitation and repowering projects for existing generators of up to 200 MVA unitary power. Up to date  Indar have participated in large projects for  the main European electricity companies.
