Ingeteam continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability by assessing the environmental impact of its products throughout their life cycle. These analyses are carried out in accordance with the internationally harmonized ISO 14040 standards and the applicable Product Category Rules (CPR), guaranteeing a coherent, transparent methodology aligned with the most demanding standards.
Thanks to this approach, the company identifies the most relevant environmental impacts and uses that information to improve the design and future performance of its equipment. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) allows you to assess your environmental effects from manufacturing to the end of the product's life, while Carbon Footprint (HC) quantifies the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with each phase of the process. In addition, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) communicate these results in a verified and comparable way, reinforcing the transparency and traceability of environmental performance.
By integrating these tools, Ingeteam promotes the continuous improvement of its products and transfers verified information on their environmental performance to the market and its stakeholders.
This work methodology focused on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the calculation of the Product Carbon Footprint (HCP) has made it possible to analyse the environmental impacts of a wide range of the company's products. The results obtained have been subjected to external verification over the last few years using Ecopassport© PEPs, and the following Environmental Product Declarations (EPD/EPD) have been obtained:
Photovoltaic inverters:
Wind generators and converters:
Electric Vehicle Chargers:
Control and protection equipment:
Finally, for the 2026 year, several products have been proposed that will follow the same process of data collection, analysis and external verification with the aim of obtaining the PEP Ecopassport label:
With these advances, Ingeteam consolidates its leadership in sustainability and environmental transparency, reaffirming its commitment to eco-design and life cycle assessment as key pillars for responsible innovation.
The company is thus moving towards a more efficient development model, aligned with international standards and committed to reducing the environmental impact of its technological solutions.
