Ingeteam has launched its new INGEPAC^TM EF BF family of breaker management devices for transmission and sub-transmission lines. The design of these devices is based on the extensive INGEPAC^TM EF platform, which has been operating for over 8 years in client installations worldwide. As with all other equipment belonging to the INGEPAC^TM EF platform, this device has the following characteristics:

• it has all of the features that ensure compatibility with substation systems (IEC 61850, DNP3.0, IEC60870-5-103, PROCOME)
• operational availability (PRP, HSR, double link and power source redundancy)
• accessibility via local HMIs
• remote accessibility from the substation SCADA or from remote operation and maintenance centres using PACFactory software
• events recording
• security
• etc.
