Ingeteam Power Technology’s Power Plants Automation Department has won a contract to renovate the electrical and control equipment of one hydropower plant on the Ebro River in Navarre.

The assignment is an end-to-end project commissioned by Spanish utility Acciona Energía in which Ingeteam will supply new Hydraulic Pressure Oil Units, Governors, Control and Protection Panels, SCADA, AC/DC Distribution Boards, Batteries, 13,2 KV Switchgear and Electrical and Mechanical Installation for the Las Norias power plant.

Ingeteam will be responsible for the entire chain, from electrical design and programming of control systems to electrical installation and start-up.

The project is to start immediately and is scheduled for completion in summer 2016.
