Ingeteam has completed the commissioning of traction systems for the High-Speed Trains in Uzbekistan

Since 2012, Ingeteam has supplied to Spanish manufacturer TALGO traction systems for 12 high-speed tractor units operating in the country.

    Last 4 vehicles are already in operation, to reinforce the country´s High Speed network.
    INGETEAM already gives support to the fleet maintenance service.

At the end of 2021, four new high speed tractor units entered in operation in Uzbekistan, helping to extend the country's fleet of electric traction vehicles: Ingeteam has participated in this project, with the supply of the traction systems.
Ingeteam's participation in the Talgo project dates back to 2011, with the supply of equipment for the first High-Speed trains for the Tashkent-Samarkanda line in Uzbekistan. Each train is set to run at a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Since 2011, the project has been extended up to the 12 tractor units in operation today.

With this project, INGETEAM continues to develop and build on its capacity as a technology leader in Railway Traction Systems.
The scope comprises the engineering of the electric system, traction chain equipment, battery chargers, control systems and high voltage switchgear. The INGETRAC traction converter supplied is on-board and water cooled and integrates the auxiliary inverters. Ingeteam is also responsible for the control electronics, adapted to comply with the country's signalling and communication regulations.
The Company has a maintenance team in this country, who will also provide coverage to these new vehicles.

INGETEAM with these traction systems, has significantly contributed to the delivery of a sustainable and smart rail transport.
