Auxiliary Plants

The auxiliary plants surrounding the installations of the Electric Steelmaking Plants, it is also part of the knowledge and supply capacities of Ingeteam ancillary plants such as: 
  • De-dusting systems, by capturing the flue gases produced during the melting and refining process and conveying them to the filtering plant through the duct system: control of main fans, furnace pressure control, filter cleaning control, dust transport control, de-dusting cooling water monitoring,
  • Fully automated furnace and ladle addition systems (handling) by means of the fourth hole: limestone, dolomite, ferroalloys, such as: ferrochrome, ferromanganese, silicomanganese, ferrosilicon, ferronickel, etc.
    Control of belt conveyors, oscillating conveyors, dosage systems, vibrators, etc. interface with weighing systems
  • Scrap yard management; Scrap classification and selection machines
  • Water treatment Plants –WTP-: pumps control, instruments, alarms & events
