New Substation Automation Contracts

Recently Ingeteam, more specifically its Power Grid Automation (PGA) unit, was awarded the control and protection system corresponding to the Everley 40MW FV plant, which is due to start functioning in summer 2016.

This project joins the company Primrose PV's Canworthy Water FV plant, which is located between the cities of Launceston and the northern coast of  Cornwall. Composed of almost 159,000 panels, and with an installed capacity of 41MW, it started functioning in December 2014 where Ingeteam has supplied and commissioned the 33kV to 132KV control and protection equipment installed in the booster substation.

Likewise, Ingeteam PGA will supply the control and protection equipment for the booster substation of the Los Loros FV plant in Chile.

The 54MW PV plant Los Loros belonging to the company Solaire Direct and composed of more than 178,000 solar modules will evacuate energy to the grid via a 110kV/23kV electrical substation.

This substation consists of a line position and two 30MW transformers, as well as seven medium-voltage circuits which collect the energy generated in the plant. The complete protection and control system for this substation will be supplied by Ingeteam, more specifically its Power Grid Automation business unit, thus adding to the approximately 150MW in ERNC projects already installed Chile previously.
