Ingeteam has been awarded a contract by Ence for the operation and maintenance of its Enemansa biomass plant in Ciudad Real, a pioneer in the use of olive waste pomace for the large-scale generation of electricity. Through this activity, the plant is contributing to the clean and controlled elimination of the waste from this autochthonous product that is characteristic of an olive-growing region, resulting in waste valorization and the creation of wealth in rural areas.
Ingeteam is planning to recruit some thirty new employees to operate and maintain the plant, located in the municipality of Villarta de San Juan.
With an installed power of 16 MW, the plant at Ciudad Real is the third biomass plant that Ingeteam operates and maintains for Ence. Ingeteam also has a contract for the provision of O&M services for the company's plants in La Loma, Jaén and in Mérida, with installed powers of 16 MW and 20 MW respectively. With these three contracts, Ingeteam boasts a total maintained power of more than 12 GW.
