Ingeteam to present its latest wind power technologies at WindEnergy Hamburg

Ingeteam, an international technology company specialising in electric power conversion, will be participating in the WindEnergy event in Hall A4, Stand 313, from 27 to 30 September in Hamburg.

Ingeteam's product range in the onshore and offshore wind power sector includes power converters, wind turbine controllers, electric switchboards, Indar generators, Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS), SCADA and analysis systems for wind turbines up to 18 MW, in addition to multi-technology and multi-brand operation & maintenance services.

Products to be presented at WindEnergy Hamburg include a wide range of low and medium-voltage power converters, optimised for DFIG and Full Converter topologies; wind power converters specifically designed to meet the most stringent grid codes; and air-cooled or air/water-cooled solutions for harsh environments. With 55 GW of installed wind power capacity worldwide, Ingeteam is the world's top independent supplier of wind power converters.

It will also exhibit Indar generators custom-designed per customer specifications. Indar manufactures generators for a wide power range of outputs up to 18 MW, doubly fed asynchronous generators, squirrel cage and permanent magnet synchronous generators, at different speeds (direct drive, medium-speed and high-speed), in low and medium voltage (LV or MV), and with air-to-air and water-to-air cooling.

To date, it has manufactured more than 22,000 generators for the wind power sector, with a global installed capacity of over 40.5 GW, figures that reflect its competitiveness, enormous production capacity and the trust placed in it by customers over many years.

In the Operation & Maintenance area, Ingeteam's experience enables it to play the role of a strategic partner in the execution of maintenance programmes. Its business model is differentiated by its capacity to provide services with a multi-technology and multi-brand scope and provide innovation throughout the entire value chain, to obtain maximum performance from both onshore and offshore facilities. Ingeteam is the premier ISP (Independent Service Provider) and today maintains more than 5,600 wind turbines worldwide, with a maintained wind power capacity of more than 9.2 GW.

Ingeteam will also present INGESYS™ Smart SCADA. This solution has proven to offer significant cost savings, increased security and performance improvements for the comprehensive management of renewable generation assets. From the installation of new build projects to the optimisation of legacy assets, a central platform enables customers to monitor day-to-day operations, optimise performance and solve complex operational challenges.

Another technology developed by the company that will be exhibited in Hamburg is Ingeboards®, a web application that provides business intelligence tools to improve asset life cycle management efficiency.

Other O&M products to be exhibited include INGEPREDICT, a unique platform that provides comprehensive predictive maintenance by means of monitoring and diagnostic software, predictive maintenance services and uptower repair services.

In the words of Xabier Irure, Ingeteam Wind Energy's Global Commercial Director, "our team of high-level specialists will be presenting Ingeteam's latest technologies, products and services in the wind power sector in Hamburg, to continue to offer the best solutions to our customers' challenges. As we have been saying for some years now at Ingeteam, the future will be renewable, or there won’t be a future.”

In 2022, Ingeteam celebrates 50 years of electrifying a sustainable future, researching, designing and manufacturing cutting-edge technologies to deliver customised solutions for the energy transition, from renewable generation to efficient electricity consumption, for its customers worldwide.
