Ingeteam signs important contracts with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in Mexico

Ingeteam, in its Mexican subsidiary, is awarded the contract for the supply of Protection, Control and Measurement (PAC) boards for three distribution divisions located in the Southeast, West and Baja California areas of the Mexican utility CFE (Federal Electricity Commission).

This contract includes the supply of Ingeteam's complete portfolio based on INGEPAC™ technology, complying with the IEC 61850 standard. These units are intended for the protection schemes of distribution feeders, sub-transmission lines, transformers and capacitor banks, at voltage levels from 34.5 kV up to 161 kV.

On the other hand, Ingeteam deepens its relationship with CFE with its training program in a practical format (hands-on), aimed at the engineers in the protection and control areas of the company's distribution and transmission divisions.

Ingeteam has become one of the main references in Mexico for Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and Protection, Control and Measurement (PAC) boards. Since its inception in 1998, it has commissioned electrical substations at voltage levels of 69 kV, 115 kV, 230 kV and 400 kV for both renewable projects and for transmitters and distributors. 15 photovoltaic parks and 23 windfarms, totaling more than 4 GW, are evacuated through substations controlled with Ingeteam technology, highlighting the Solar Villanueva plant, the largest in Mexico with 754 MW.
