New certifications for the INGEPAC solution

As of June 2015, the United Kingdom's Energy Networks Association (ENA) has included the INGEPAC EF MD control and protection equipment family for electrical substations (especially relevant to IEC61850-compliant systems) on the list of assessed protection relays for multifunctional protection and bay control unit functions.

The Energy Networks Association (ENA) represents all of the gas and electricity transport and distribution companies of the United Kingdom and Ireland, in order to encourage and establish common good practice amongst its members to ensure the safest, most reliable and most sustainable service for all of its clients in its sphere of influence.

It thus acts as a representative for its members with industry and government institutions, engineering services, and consultancies. It also regulates operation, health and safety and the environment, and promotes technological development in the activities of its members.

The list of relays assessed by ENA is the main reference for electrical companies and users in the United Kingdom and Ireland when choosing the protection relays to use in their applications. This assessment further validates and recognises the INGEPAC product range as a technological, robust solution in control and protection systems.

INGEPAC EF ZT obtains ENATREL's approval

The INGEPAC EF ZT family of control and protection equipment for main impedance protection in high-voltage electrical lines has been approved in the Nicaraguan company ENATREL (Empresa Nacional de Transmisión Eléctrica de Nicaragua) for application in 138 kV overhead lines, having successfully passed all of the test cases defined by ENATREL and having been installed for a year in a substation in real conditions with satisfactory results.
