Ingeteam is taking part in the largest PV greenhouse in the world

Specifically, the supply comprises fourteen 1.6 megawatt sub-stations housing a total of 28 Ingecon Sun PowerMax inverters, which are compliant with the strictest international regulations and standards and can be adapted to suit any solar park power output.

The Su Scioffu PV greenhouse, with a power output of 20 megawatts, is located close to the capital city of the island. Stretching across an area of more than 100,000 square metres, which is equivalent to more than 10 football pitches, these facilities are to be dedicated to the production of agricultural crops, on the one hand, and to the production of renewable energy on the other. It will therefore be possible to cover the energy requirements of 10,000 homes all year round.
