Ingeteam has presented at Orlando’s Solar Power International its new family of INGECON SUN U (UL approved) inverters, NEMA 3R with galvanic isolation or transformerless, and power outputs ranging from 125 to 880 kW. These new inverters manufactured at its American facility in Milwaukee (WI) offer the maximum reliability and performance.
As a key innovation, Ingeteam has showcased its new developments for integration of PV, Energy Storage and plant control to ensure grid stability even on days of high solar irradiance variations. This energy management solution, called INGECON EMS Plants, with a power output range of 500 to 1.000 kW, has strongly surprised SPI’s visitors. This solution combines an energy storage system with the PV generation, and allows the installation to store the energy excess during the periods of high irradiance and to discharge the batteries when the PV production drastically falls (e.g. clouds). This is very useful, especially in places like Puerto Rico, where the requirements to ensure grid stability are very specific.
Once again, Ingeteam demonstrates its readiness for all the possible challenges.
