THE ENERGY OF MUSIC
With the return to normality after the pandemic, we have resumed the collaboration that we have been carrying out for more than 10 years with the Euskadiko Orkestra. This year, coinciding with Ingeteam's 50th anniversary, we have had the opportunity to enjoy the different performances in San Sebastian, in the Kursaal Auditorium on 29 April and 2 May, in Pamplona on 3 May in the Baluarte Auditorium and in Bilbao in the Euskalduna Palace on 4 May.
In the case of Euskadiko Orkestra, through this collaboration we have for many years been establishing a meeting point between the industrial company and the world of culture. The case of a symphony orchestra and its operation is one of the best examples of teamwork, which is also the basis of our way of working. The result is spectacular. As have been the different concerts conducted by the prestigious conductor Robert Treviño on this occasion in the performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, nicknamed "Resurrection", accompanied by two vocal soloists, the soprano, Sarah Fox, and the mezzo-soprano, Justina Gringyte, as well as the luxury of having the Orfeón Donostiarra and its many members on stage. A delight for our ears and eyes.
The three auditoriums were filled with an audience totally devoted to the masterly performance. And they were attended by various representatives of the different institutions and business network of the Basque Country such as Bingen Zupiria, Minister of the Department of Culture and Linguistic Policy of the Basque Government, Iñigo Ansola, Director General of the Ente Vasco de Energía, Alberto Fernández, Director of Technology and Innovation of the Basque Government, Eneko Goia, Mayor of San Sebastian, Manuel Salaverria, President of the Basque Innovation Agency (Innobasque), Fernando Irigoyen, General Manager of Kutxabank, Pedro Esnaola and Javier Zubia, President and Director of the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce respectively, among others. They were accompanied by the President of Ingeteam, Teresa Madariaga, the CEO of Ingeteam, Adolfo Rebollo and the Director of Corporate Development of Ingeteam, Alex Belaustegi.

ABOUT THE MUSICAL PIECE
With this programme, the Euskadiko Orkestra rescues a work that had to be suspended when the pandemic began in 2020, and whose recovery acquires great symbolic value. It is Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, nicknamed "Resurrection", which took the Bohemian composer six years of work and which, in its hour and a half duration, traverses an extraordinary soundscape shaped by reflection on life and death. In it, Mahler also introduced for the first time the human voice and the ultraterrestrial theme, which will be central to much of his later symphonic output. Robert Treviño, who has enjoyed great success on international stages conducting Mahler, will be joined by two vocal soloists specialising in his music, soprano Sarah Fox and mezzo-soprano Justina Gringyte, and by a choir that has performed this symphony all over the world and has made it its calling card: the Orfeón Donostiarra.
