• Ingeteam will carry out a major electrical reform in one of Celsa’s Group continuous rolling mills in Spain.

• Ingeteam will supply state-of-the-art equipment for the heating furnace and the pre-roughing area of ​​the rolling mill. From Celsa’s part, that upgrade will improve the reliability of its production process along with its maintainability.

Ingeteam has obtained a new order for the electrical upgrade of the continuous rolling mill of one installation of Celsa Group in Spain. Specifically, Ingeteam will carry out the reform in the pre-roughing area of ​​the rolling mill as well as the thermal process of the reheating furnace.

The contract includes new equipment for the control and actuation of the motors that serve four rolling stands in the pre-roughing area, along with two intermediate shears. Furthermore, as an essential part of the set of reforms to be implemented, it is also worth noting the intervention in the Transfer and Reheating Furnace area, at the head of the rolling mill. Ingeteam will have to carry out the reform tasks soon, since the mill will go into production again at the end of August 2020.
