In March of 2019, Diversified (a leading international media company) marked its entry into the renewable energy industry with the acquisition of Intersolar North America, EES, and Power2Drive North America from Solar Promotion International and FMMI. Its first edition of Intersolar North America was held in February of 2020 and featured the inaugural Solar Games installer competition.

In March of 2020, Diversified reinforced its commitment to supporting the new energy economy with the acquisition of Energy Storage North America from producer ESNA EXPO LLC. By bringing Intersolar & Energy Storage North America together as co-located events, Diversified provided attendees access to forward-looking content, innovative exhibits, and an expanded professional network that reflected the growing integration among the complementary solar, energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure industries.

The success of the combined events culminated in the integration of the Intersolar & Energy Storage North America conference, trade show, and digital channels. 

In January of 2024, Intersolar & Energy Storage North America further demonstrated its commitment to providing the connections, resources, and knowledge needed to support continued solar + storage growth across the country by announcing the launch of a regional event to be held in Austin, Texas.
