Ingeteam, an independent supplier of electrical conversion equipment, has announced today that it will exhibit at EWEA 2015 Annual Event, to be held this year from the 17th to 20th November in Paris, France.
EWEA 2015 Annual Event presents an international platform for the wind energy industry and provides a periodic opportunity to define the strategic direction for wind energy activities in Europe. Taking place just two weeks ahead of the UN Climate negotiations (COP21), guaranteeing strong international media exposure and attracting over 9000 high-profile business and political leaders. There will be no better time to show policy-makers the strength of the wind industry.
Wind power can meet a quarter of Europe’s electricity demand by 2030 if Member States deliver on climate and energy pledges, according to the latest forecasts by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA). Clear direction is needed from the European Commission to ensure that Member States propose robust national action plans for renewable energy and remain on track to meet the EU’s 27% renewable energy pledge by 2030.
At stand H08-1, Ingeteam is to showcase its latest products, including power converters, generators, turbine controllers, CMS, SCADA systems and wind farm O&M services for wind turbines up to 10 MW for onshore and offshore applications.
Since 1995, Ingeteam has commissioned more than 20,000 wind power converters, accounting for 30 GW of installed wind power capacity worldwide and a 7.4% market share. The company’s global footprint includes manufacturing facilities in Europe, North and South America, and sales and service centers strategically located all over the world. In 2014, 7% of net sales was invested in R&D, the backbone of the company’s business activity.
