INDAR SG range of generators is the result of experience gained at hundreds of hydroelectric installations on five continents, with an installed power summing up to 7 GW.
The robustness of its construction, its high efficiency and the flexibility of the design in each specific project makes INDAR SG Range the right choice when choosing the generator to be installed in toe-of-dam, run-of-the-river hydroelectric plants or pumped-storage power stations.
The SG synchronous generators family covers a wide range of the generators for hydropower production, with two families: Compact and Large, depending on the power and the speed of the machine.
• INDAR SG Compact: 1,250 - 30,000 kVA
• INDAR SG Large: 30,000 kVA - 70,000 kVA
The SGH generators can be coupled to Pelton, Francis, Kaplan, S-Kaplan and BULB type turbines, with a unit capacity of up to 70 MVA, type H insulation, IP23 to IP56, voltages of up to 15 kV, horizontal and vertical constructions and manufacture according to the IEC, NEMA and IEEE standards.
Apart from the development of its Comprehensive Range of equipments, INDAR rehabilitation and repowering department carries out rehabilitation and repowering of existing generators, having full capacity of manufacturing active parts for generators with an output up to 200 MVA.
