The Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities start when the Mechanical Completion phase is completed.
The Commissioning activities are divided in the following task:
• Preparation phase or Commissioning engineering
• Execution activities
• Creation of the Commissioning documentation and the handover of the installation to the client
In the early stages of the Project, systems are divided in subsystems according to the commissioning team requirements. Moreover, the procedures and functional protocols for each subsystem are developed, identifying the needs of the equipments and systems required for those tests. All this, sets the priorities for the fabrication and installation, as well as the milestones to respect.
The early commissioning packages definition is essential for the execution of the commissioning as short a time as possible.
Thanks to the use of the iteamPCS software the status of the Protocol progress is controlled associating for each Protocol required systems and elements. In addition, new punch items can be open during the tests.
