Ingeteam supplies Ingecon Sun inverters for the largest roof-mounted PV installation in the Basque Country
February 14, 2012
Ingeteam has contributed to the construction of the largest roof-mounted PV installation in the Basque Country, fully supplied by the distributor Álvarez Beltrán and three times the size of the largest installation to date.
The installation is located in the south of Alava, on the Lantarón industrial estate. With a rated power output of 1 MW and an estimated energy production of 1,321,000 kWh per annum (the average consumption of 440 homes), this installation is set to prevent the emission of 857 tons of CO2 per year.
The plant took 4 months to construct and included the supply of 2 Ingecon?Sun 500HE TL inverters and 14 Ingecon?Sun String Control devices for monitoring and measuring the string currents.
Ingeteam offers a wide range of Ingecon?Sun grid-tie inverters from 2.5 kW to 840 kW, in addition to Ingecon?Hybrid systems for stand-alone systems and Ingecon??Wind inverters that are suitable for a wide range of wind turbines in small-scale wind systems with outputs from 2.5 to 6 kW.
To date, Ingeteam has supplied more than 2 GWp to customers, confirming its position as one of the world's leading inverter manufacturers.
